But here's the latest news for me (Melissa): I'm back with B&N College Bookstores at Georgia Tech, where I am now the Assistant Director. I'm excited for new challenges in an environment I already know well, so we will see what happens next!
As for J. B., he is back in school full-time on the way to finish his Bachelor's Degree. Earlier this month he started taking classes at Kennesaw State University and will be applying to their school of business next semester. His schedule includes courses on Management, Marketing, Business Statistics and Accounting. While in school he's still working part time at Kroger.
Needless to say, we're both keeping quite busy in our respective new adventures. Our new schedules may not always mesh, but we try to make the most of the time we do get to spend together.
We recently got to spend some time with my cousin Mary who came into town to do odd jobs for my parents and for us, so we had a lot of fun catching up when she was here. While she was here, Mary moved our master bathroom light switch so that it was inside the bathroom instead of outside, so now we won't have to blind each other early in the morning when one of us has to be up and at it earlier than the other. Yay!
I suppose that's pretty much it for now. I hated to leave everyone high and dry for so long, but I suppose I was enjoying my five week vacation so much I didn't have as much time for this site as I thought I would. Stay tuned for more updates!
